Between 1989 and 1994 she was the Director of Knowledge Engineering at Entel.
After her experiences in this telecommunications company, Paloma Domingo dedicated herself to teaching at the Carlos III University of Madrid, where she taught computer science classes from 1994 to 2000.
With just over six years of experience as a teacher, Paloma Domingo was promoted to researcher at the Carlos III University in Madrid.

In 2000, Paloma Domingo was named “Head of Academic Practices in Business” in the “Scientific Park of the Carlos III University“.
She held this position until 2002, when she was promoted to Deputy Director of the “Carlos III University Science Park”. She left this position in 2012.
